“Children’s Voices Against Child Labour”

On 20 July 2026, the Child Safety Net (CSN) Project of Don Bosco Child Labour Mission (DBCLM) organized a powerful Public Awareness Rally in Bashanagara and Mandakki Bhatti, Davangere. With 60 school children and four teachers, the rally marched through the streets and working units, raising slogans for child rights, education and regular school attendance. Inaugurated by the School Headmaster and inspired by Fr. Regi Jacob, the initiative stirred the community to pledge monthly rallies. A remarkable outcome was the return of four irregular children to school, proving that collective action can spark immediate change and safeguard every child’s future.
